Manchester City -- Manchester City just got a new young players from Venezuela, Yangel Herrera. It is unknown how the transfer value of a player who has no experience in the European football.
19-year-old defensive midfielder from Atletico Venezuela moved to City on loan on Tuesday (31/1) evening local time.
Before playing for Atletico Venezuela in 2016, Herrera started his career in Monagas SC in 2014.
His move to ManCity will be his first experience in a career in Europe. ManCity party itself does not officially announced the arrival of the new players.
However, Atletico Venezuela, announced the good news via cuitannya in the official Twitter account.
"It's official! Yangel Herrera will play for Manchester City, the English club. This is a leap in the size of Europe," said @AtleticoVzla account.
Last year, Herrera elected Venezuelan national team squad, having played for a year in Venezuela U-17.
In the senior national team, Herrera mostly sitting on the bench. Unlike when he played in Venezuela U-17, he has always played as a major player and scored one goal in five matches that he played.
Herrera will likely strengthen ManCity start of next season. The Citizens Herrera plans to lend to the club that has ownership affiliations with the New York City and Melbourne FC that increases his playing experience.
