Valentino Rossi MotoGP -- After undergoing the official test session for three days at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, Valentino Rossi believes MotoGP competition in 2017 to be fierce.

Rossi closed the third session with the best time recorded in the serial number of the fifth after Maverick Vinales, Marc Marquez, Andrea Dovizioso and Dani Pedrosa.

Reflecting on the official test session for three days, Rossi believes 2017 season will be one of the most competitive seasons in the history of MotoGP.

"The test at Sepang is fairly positive value for me because of my success record quick time."

"The only problem is the top rider had a near record time and also very fast. I am sure next season there will be a fierce battle," said Rossi was quoted as saying Tuttomotoriweb.


Rossi and Yamaha's own conduct several experiments in the official test session, including the motor frame.

"We are looking at the performance of the new frame on this bike. In general, I do not have constraints in terms of trial some new components given Yamaha in this test."

"The new fairing looks more beautiful, so anything new chassis this bike is generally look better. But the difference with the old one is not too big," said Rossi.

Rossi is currently the world title hunt to-10 in his career. Rossi's contract with Yamaha's own current and the remaining two seasons will end in 2018.
